Fishing in Nha Trang

On our boat trip through the islands of Nha Trang we stopped at a fishing village, and were given some fishing equipment.

We sat on a dock using this equipment and fished for about one hour I was able to catch two fish, which our guide kept for dinner.  It was a good day on the dock.

I know what you all are thinking those are some lunkers.  Well our guide, Thai (Pronounces Hi), was really happy to add them to his bucket.

This next photo is a gentleman who wanted to take us out in his boat.  This are Vietnamese fishing boats.  They are round, this one had a glass bottom and are steered with one oar.  They can maneuver this thing better than I could ever maneuver a canoe.

The fishing village is an actual village on the water.  They all live out on this docks floating in the bay of this one island.
